When to use it

The chain link: copy a URL, insert a hyperlink, or show that one already exists. In editors, pair it with a broken-link state for removal. It makes a fine 'copy link' button, but then feedback is mandatory — swap to a check on success. Don't use it for external navigation; the escaping-box arrow covers that.
