When to use it

Two vertical bars, play's counterpart. Swap them in place as one toggle button rather than showing both — a visible pause means 'currently playing, tap to stop'. Tabler files it as player-pause. Beyond media it works for suspending processes: paused subscriptions, paused syncs, paused pipelines, where it is gentler than stop's hard square.
