When to use it

Two nodes forking off a main line — branching, feature branches, anything version-control. Developers read it instantly; nobody else does, so keep it inside dev tooling. Don't reuse it for generic 'split' or decision points in flowcharts, where an arrow fork is clearer. Heroicons, aimed at general marketing UI, is the only set here without a git family.
