When to use it

A dot on a line: one recorded change in history. Use it for commit lists, revision pickers, and changelog entries. Most sets draw the line horizontal; Lucide splits it into git-commit-horizontal and git-commit-vertical so the icon can match your graph's orientation — pick the one that runs the same way as your commit rail. Heroicons skips the git family entirely.

Every set here is open-licensed for commercial use with no attribution required in your product — the notices their licenses do require live on our set pages. No accounts, no download walls.
